Oasis Boutique Hotel

This was the most disgusting hotel I've stayed in during my travels through Asia. There were stains on the sheets and ants in the bed. When I told management about the ants, they actually laughed. The price isn't cheap, and there are much better places for the same money. They provide only half a roll of toilet paper. Do yourself a favor and skip this disgusting hotel. Yes, I loved the stained sheets and ants crawling over the bed.

Water leaked into the bedroom, there was no TV, and the room came with free cockroaches and centipedes. The bathroom had poor lighting and major leaks, the window blinds didn't work, and the view from outside was bad. The Wi-Fi signal in the room was very poor too. I checked in around 10 pm and asked to change rooms, but the receptionist disappeared and didn't come back until morning, leaving me with no help. This is a very bad hotel. Don't stay here.

The ocean view is lovely, though construction is right in front of it, and that view may be gone within a year. Inside, the room was a mess: dead cockroaches by the door, ants all over, and stained sheets that I had to ask them to replace. The fridge seemed to have been unplugged for ages and made the room smell. The proprietor apologized as soon as they showed me the room, which says a lot.

Jamie was a fantastic, professional host, and the communal space had a really nice feel. It was a good place to work, read, or sit with a coffee. The rooms were spacious and very clean, with good air conditioning, hot water, and WiFi. It’s about 150 meters from the beach in Otres, away from Sihanoukville’s concrete jungle. I’d happily recommend staying here.
