Ren Resort

We won't be coming back. Staff on both the night and morning shifts were rude. We complained that the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, and asked if they could add a blanket for cushioning. The staff member said it would feel the same and asked how we could sleep there last time but not this time.

There's a major construction site right beside the hotel, so noise could be an issue if you're sensitive to it. We had the room nearest the work and it didn't bother us much. They stop after 6pm and don't start before 7am, and you can barely hear it on the beach. The beach is clean, with a lovely sunset, and they provide towels and sun loungers. The rooms are fairly spacious and the staff are really kind and attentive. Breakfast is decent, around 8/10. Lunch and dinner at the restaurant were just okay, and there are better, cheaper places nearby. Secret Garden is the best choice, about 20m to the side. It's a beautiful boutique hotel.

The pool is huge and nicely shaded, and the beach is right across the road. The place has a really relaxed feel and everyone on staff was incredibly friendly. Breakfast is served in a simple restaurant, which worked perfectly for me. I actually liked that it didn't draw crowds or have karaoke. I had a great stay and will be back soon.

The staff are very friendly and do their best to help, but there is a small cockroach problem. Getting through an evening without seeing one is a good result. It's a small resort at the end of Marina Road. The rooms are set up like double rooms. There isn't really a proper restaurant, just street-side seating with cars and a view of the lake, and breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.
