Don't trust the photos on third-party apps like Agoda or booking.com. I booked a room with a private pool and facilities, but the pool was dirty, there was dust everywhere, and the room had no TV. There were lots of mosquitoes and a broken light bulb. When I asked reception about it, they acted like they knew nothing. Irresponsible!

No Chinese guests at the hotel, and it feels welcoming to both locals and foreigners. Easy to get to the beach.

Still a good deal at the current rates, with friendly staff and a very nice setting. The rooms and facilities could use some renovation, and the garden isn't maintained well, which brings in lots of mosquitoes. Breakfast is average for Western guests.

The sandy beach out front was clean, though I can't say whether the resort was the one cleaning it. Staff were friendly and discreet, and the restaurant food was good. We appreciated happy hour from 5:30pm. Watch out for mosquito season, and bring white vinegar to help stop the itching. We stayed in two adjoining rooms, one with a private pool. Both were nicely laid out and clean, with a ceiling fan and air conditioning. The beds were comfortable and the bedding clean. The sliding-door design, including for the open-space bathrooms, shows its limits in a humid climate. We'd consider coming back.

Such a great little place on Otres beach. It's small, cute and comfortable, with lovely gardens and a nice pool. The rooms were clean, very nice and had great amenities. The bar and restaurant staff took great care of us, as did a woman at the front desk. The manager kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Cocktails and food were both great. See you next time, Sahaa Beach Resort.
