I found the staff’s service and attention to detail phenomenal, and it made my time here worthwhile. The hotel, spa, and restaurant together felt like an oasis away from the city bustle, a serene, relaxing place to unwind. For a 20 USD boutique hotel, I expected a bit more. The hot shower and TV weren’t working, and the WiFi was unstable. This town doesn’t have much value-for-money accommodation, and food options are limited too. If you don’t need to stop in Sisophon, skip it. Battambang and Siem Riep are much better.

The room was clean and quiet, and the AC worked well, unlike what I usually find at hotels in this price range in this country. The toilet smelled a bit, though, and the color and layout felt more like something I’d expect in Minsk, Belarus. At 8.30 a.m., some gentle hammering began, then turned into an inferno of drilling, hammering, and tile-cutting noise. We packed up and ran.

We came for one night to rest, and the hotel was nice, with a modern room. Around 8 am, hammering started. It wasn’t too loud at first, but later there were very loud machine noises for 30 minutes, and we had to wake up and leave for siem reap. Workers should start at 1 or 3 pm so guests can sleep.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was nice and clean, as you’d expect from a hotel. Breakfast was included, and the Pho was very tasty. Highly recommended!
