I stayed just one night so I could re-enter Thailand and get an extra 30-day visa. The resort is top-notch and very well maintained, with a nice pool, a casino, and tidy gardens. The downside is the location. If gambling isn't your thing, there's nothing to do in the evenings.

I didn't use the casino, but on my visit several years ago I enjoyed the pool, free breakfast, boardwalk, and garden inside the resort. Everything looked good then. It seems quieter these days, and the townhomes beside the casino look neglected. It's a shame, since the place was well planned. I wonder what it would take to turn things around.

We've never stayed here, but sometimes come to swim. The staff are very friendly and the garden is lovely. The pool costs 100 baht per person, or 4 USD, and I'd go with baht. Swimming in the ocean and wandering around the garden are nice too, and we've never been charged for those.

I only came in to change US dollars so I could pay the sleazy border guards the ransom they wanted to let me into the country. The casino was quite nice, and the cashiers helped me with the exchange. I was surprised to be the only customer, though I suppose it's not surprising when they don't have Blackjack.

The decor is great, and the pool, gym, and other facilities are good. But the bathroom wasn't very clean, with visible dirt, and having NO WIFI in the room is quite unacceptable.
