The ocean view was lovely, and I enjoyed staying here for two days. Then, at midnight, Kenya Airways messaged me that my flight had been cancelled and offered another one in five hours. Serge and Farida took me to the airport after midnight. I’m very grateful to the owners for that kind of service. Thank you!

Farida made our first stop in Comoros so much easier. She was welcoming and helpful, sorting out contacts and logistics as well as accommodation. If you message her on WhatsApp in French, she can arrange an airport taxi too. The house is peaceful, with a lovely terrace overlooking the sea and sunset. The facilities are simple but clean and sufficient, and the beds have mosquito nets. There’s an ATM and restaurants nearby, plus the local market is a short walk away. 10/10, highly recommended.

The terrace has a beautiful ocean view, and the location is central. The owners are extremely helpful with all sorts of travel questions about Comoros. Wi-Fi worked well most of the time, though the electricity cuts out now and then, which is typical in Comoros. Payment is in cash. Highly recommended.

Farida was incredibly kind and helped us a lot with the logistics for our trip to Moheli. The accommodation itself is basic and expensive at 55€/ night, but the location is great. We really enjoyed staying with her.

I was travelling alone and there was nobody to help me with my bags. The rooms had ants and other insects. When I complained, Ms Farida threw me out of the lodge late in the evening and didn’t return my money either. Horrible landlady!
