Bird Rock Beach Hotel

The front desk person was genuinely sweet and helpful. Our room, though, was cramped and dark, with no hot water and an AC that wasn’t working. It was late, so we didn’t report the AC issue; maybe they could have moved us to another room if we had. For Americans, the room fell below par.

The stay was stressful and humiliating, and nobody acknowledged the way we were treated or tried to put things right. From arrival, staff and management came across as hostile and dismissive, with the owner especially disrespectful and unprofessional. I’ve stayed in hotels around the world and haven’t had an experience this disturbing. The place felt unsafe, and I can’t believe a hotel in a tourism based economy would think this treatment is acceptable. Avoid Bird Rock Hotel. St. Kitts has better places where guests are treated with dignity.

We left feeling disgusted, uncomfortable, and stressed. Guests were spoken to with hostility and arrogance, and the owner was particularly dismissive and disrespectful. The staff were shockingly rude, while management acted as though hospitality didn’t matter. Bird Rock Hotel was one of the most appalling places I’ve dealt with. I’d avoid it, especially since there are better hotels on the island where you won’t be treated like an inconvenience.

The views were great, but the Wi-Fi was really slow. The kitchen could use some appliances.
