John, the owner, is a great guy, and the staff are wonderful. He really does try to make sure you’re feeling good. It’s a good place to get a feel for everyday island life, though you shouldn’t expect high end American or European standards. As John puts it, “Water is wet.” There’s Wi-Fi, but no hot water, and you’ll need to bring your own towels and hygiene products since they aren’t supplied. For the price, I thought it was a great stay and would recommend it.

The location was fantastic, and the price was decent compared with most other places on the island. The owner was cool, and the room was okay for a one night stay. There’s no hot water or AC. If you have allergies to cats or dogs, check first, since the owner has quite a few. They stay on another floor, so they won’t bother you. And if you love pets, there you go :)

There was no AC, soap, or hot water. The friendly staff and the friendly cats and dogs were the only saving graces.
