The rooms are arranged so you feel completely private, and the place has a lovely charm and history. We had so much help from Asheena and Janella, who made the trip everything we hoped for and more. Thanks to Muffin for creating such a wonderful place to stay. We got back on December 20th after a wonderfully relaxing island holiday, just in time before Christmas. There are three options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus a pool bar where Kaddy makes fruity cocktails. You can also have afternoon tea and scones if you like. My husband and I will definitely be back for our anniversary.

The beautiful grounds were peaceful and full of island charm, and we enjoyed delicious meals that were thoughtfully prepared and nicely presented. Our first day had a few hiccups, but Abby and the rest of the staff helped get things back on track. Abby’s warmth, professionalism, and eye for detail made the rest of our stay exceptional. The team’s care for guests more than made up for that rocky start. We had a wonderful visit and would happily return to the Montpelier.

The staff showed us genuine care and hospitality throughout, making the stay relaxing and unforgettable. Montpelier Plantation is a beautiful restoration, with thoughtful decor that suits the building. The Great room is impressive, and the historic charm is everywhere. The grounds are beautifully kept, and the pool and tennis court were incredible, with stunning views and a fresh breeze. It’s a real gem, with lovely facilities and an unspoilt Caribbean feel.

It feels cozy and romantic here after dark, with warm yellow lights and a pleasantly cool evening breeze. Since the property sits in the hills, it can be a bit dim at night. In daylight, the natural scenery looks beautiful. This historic site was once a colonial-era estate, probably connected to sugar production or governance. It has since been renovated with a swimming pool, luxury resort, tennis courts, and a spacious parking lot, so it now serves as both a heritage site and a high-end hotel. You can dine here for an upscale experience, or visit just to see the historic grounds.

Everything was great at dinner on burger and pasta night. I especially loved the coconut martinis.
