A friendly woman runs the place, though she doesn’t speak English. It can be a bit hard to locate: go to the old station, cross the road, and look for the door on the building’s right with a picture of Rhianna, then head upstairs. It’s easy to get to from the new KTX and bus station on several buses, and the Tourist Information booth outside the station is very helpful. The hotel is close to the centre and lots of places to eat. For the price it’s excellent, with a clean, comfortable bed and good pillows. Rooms at the back are quiet. There are no sheets, which is a little strange, but the bedding is clean. The towels are tiny, as in many motels, so we bring our own.

The woman on duty was very helpful, and service is available around the clock. We didn’t expect much, but the room turned out to be spacious and extremely comfortable, with lots of outlets and even a handy USB-C charger. The bath was clean and well equipped. There were plenty of towels, plus toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and other gels. We were really impressed.

The location is convenient, close to a bus stop for nearby attractions, with Andong’s bus and train terminal about 20 minutes away by bus. A market is a short walk away, and there’s a large Homeplus supermarket nearby. The receptionist was very friendly and had our key ready when we arrived. The room was dated but clean, with heated floors, a comfortable bed, slippers, and useful amenities such as body cream and hair gel. The bathroom was old too, and the toilet had some discoloration from previous mould, though it was clean. We think it may be a love hotel, but it’s clean and reasonably priced, so we’d recommend it.
