E Plus Hotel

For a work trip around Cheonan-Asan, I stayed in a three-person ondol room on the ground floor. It’s an older place, but it was clean and looked well cared for. Breakfast had post-it notes, cup ramen, toast, and coffee beans.

There weren’t many restaurants nearby, which was the one real hassle. Parking was ample, and the lobby had a selection of simple snacks and drinks. My twin room had two single beds; it was on the small side, though clean inside, with clean bedding and a clean bathroom.

I felt like I was treated as if I didn’t matter. Seriously, this is long-term accommodation for construction workers, and I felt ripped off. The shower was broken, yet nobody checked or fixed it, and a bad smell came up from the drain. The layout had no doors in sight, and it was cold enough that I couldn’t sleep with the window open. The female owner seemed thoughtless. I was so upset and disgusted that I couldn’t sleep.

The place was clean, and it was nice to have a simple breakfast in the morning. I also didn’t hear noise from the next room. The trouble is, there’s nowhere nearby to get a decent meal.
