ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong

I slept well during my eight-night stay. The room was small but workable, with a comfortable bed, strong shower pressure, and a separate toilet. Staff were polite and helpful, and housekeeping kept the room very clean. The location is excellent. Both the 6015 airport bus and Myeongdong subway station are within a five-minute walk. Even with everything so central, the hotel sits on a quiet side street away from the main road, which I really liked. One thing to know: I booked a Standard Room, and Agoda's photos showed a city view, but my room faced the next building and had no view at all. A whole week without seeing anything outside felt a bit like sleeping in a box 😅

The helpful staff and convenient location made for a good five-night stay. I could easily get to shopping and food around Myeongdong. A few small things weren't ideal: water leaked out past the shower door after use, and the toilet area smelled damp, probably because ventilation was limited. My window faced another building, so no direct sunlight reached the room. If you're staying longer and need to do laundry, there's only one coin-operated washer and one dryer, so you have to plan your timing. Still, the supportive staff and great location made it a good stay overall.

We got in at 3am, and the staff were still very accommodating. Both check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free, and we had a very good stay. Myeongdong night market, Daiso, and the train station are all nearby. Thanks for the hospitality. We'll definitely visit South Korea again and recommend this hotel!

It's a decent hotel just beyond the busy part of Myeongdong. Rooms are a bit small but clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was fairly limited, though they do have a live egg station. We noticed an unlimited steak buffet dinner, but the venue was booked for private events throughout our stay, so we didn't get to try it.
