The owners were so warm and welcoming, which made this beautiful historic village even more enchanting. It's also well placed for driving to nearby sights and hiking.

It was lovely to wander around the village, and the old house has plenty of character, though there were lots of bugs. You can stay overnight in a rented room or in one of the private villas. Larger rooms have their own bathrooms, while the smaller ones use separate washrooms and toilets. The doors don't lock. For the price, renting just one room didn't feel like the best deal, but it could be worth trying :)

The clean, fluffy bedding and towels were a comfort, and the quiet night gave way to birdsong in the morning. Yonghojeong's garden felt like my own front yard, with the feel of a miniature Baekdudaegan Arboretum. In this peaceful rural village, there were no neon signs at 8 a.m. The beautiful old house was soothing, and I found it excellent value. I've looked for healing in many places, but staying in a genuine old house here made me understand what healing and travel really mean. I'd like to come in every season, maybe even every month. Next time I want to stay longer, read a book, and take time to reflect.

The old house has a lovely charm, and the whole place felt exceptionally clean and well cared for. I was very satisfied with my stay and would happily return if I get the chance.

There are nice nearby spots for a morning walk or a bit of relaxation, and the staff are friendly. They provide morning snacks too. The house is said to be a historic one, around 350 years old.
