I was unsure about booking because the ratings were low, but after reading the comments I saw that the negative ones were old and ownership had since changed. We stayed three nights with 24 guesthouse and had a pleasant time. The location is right in the middle of everything, communication was good, and toiletries were provided. The heated blankets were especially welcome given the cold weather outside. For £30 a night for a twin room, though, I expected regular-sized towels instead of the tiny ones we got.

The rooftop is lovely, and it's handy that you can dry your laundry there for free. This is a cute, centrally located hostel that's easy to get to from the airport. The owner was welcoming and explained everything clearly. His English was good enough, and the rooms smelled fine and everything worked.

The staff were the ones making noise until 2 a.m. I asked several times for them to quiet down, and in the end I had to yell. The place was dirty, noisy, smelly, and cold. The hot water stopped halfway through my shower, after only about 10 minutes. There weren't any supplies at all, not even tissues. I wouldn't stay here again even if I were paid. Not worth a single star.

We left and found another place after just one night. It was dirty, in a sketchy building, and unpleasant overall, with no staff around. The one helpful thing was a gentleman who showed us how to use the heated floor.

A no-fuss place that's clean and inexpensive, with a great location. It's a little worn down, especially the toilet. They don't provide bottled water, but there is a dispenser in the shared pantry.
