Busan City Hotel

There are cafes and places to eat within walking distance, plus a grocery store and several train stations. The hotel has a modern feel, the staff at the front were kind, and the rooms and facilities were incredibly clean. I also appreciated that the rooms were well stocked with toiletries and other essentials. It felt like a 5-star stay without the 5-star price, and I plan to book here again when I’m next in Busan.

I liked the fitness centre on the second basement level most. It has a variety of equipment. The hotel is easy to reach from Busan’s tourist spots, and the staff were all kind. My room was spacious and very clean, even though this is a business hotel, and I found the stay comfortable. I recommend it :)

There are plenty of restaurants nearby and public transport is good. Daily room service was very good, and the staff were polite and welcoming. I’d happily stay again, and thank them for that. The hotel is new, with nice rooms, including large deluxe rooms. My seventh-floor deluxe room was clean and as expected, with a separate sitting area and its own TV as well as another TV opposite the queen bed. The bathroom was large, with a great shower area. They provide a coffee machine and two capsules, and the coffee wasn’t bad. The two windows are small and face the wall of the adjacent building, so there isn’t much of a view. I like a very firm bed, but it won’t suit people who prefer a soft one. The TV has little in the way of English channels, and the wifi works well. The USB port beside the bed didn’t work, though hopefully that’s an easy fix. It’s generally quiet, but the pipes can be noisy early in the morning when guests use the bathrooms.

The location and amenities were okay, but our room wasn’t very clean, and the restaurant was closed during our stay. At checkout I left a valuable jacket in the room and contacted the hotel right away. It was definitely still there, but they couldn’t find it, so it was stolen. The staff didn’t help with the search at all. Don’t book this place under any circumstances!
