I recommend Cube Motel to budget travelers. I spent five nights there in Sept 2018 and found the service and room quality great. Cube Motel, or "Hotel Cube" as everything is named, is unquestionably a love motel, the kind of place rented for a few hours or a night with someone special. Check-in is on the second floor, reached by an elevator in the parking lot underneath the hotel. They gave me a baggy with toothbrushes, toothpaste, a facial mask, bubble bath bubbles, a 'ladies hygiene kit', and condoms. The room was in okay shape. It had some wear and tear, including a coffee stain on the wall, scratched paint near the bed, and water residue stains on the bathroom tiles. None of that set off alarm bells for me. There was a table and chairs, a PC computer that I think was hooked up to the TV, a microfridge, AC, free WiFi, a circular bathtub, two sinks, and standard body soaps. As another reviewer mentioned, there isn't a closet or a place to put your luggage. The microfridge was restocked each day with three bottles of water, a Pepsi, and an orange drink, and room service also left two Oreos every day. The bathroom is large and open, but shower water can spray everywhere and make a big mess. I didn't get to try the tub, though it looked spacious. It took me a while to work out the AC, since its power button is actually on one of the TV remotes. I found the location convenient, near a Mini Mart, a Lotteria, and the Mutgol and Daeyeon subway stops. Those may not be close to tourist spots, but they're roughly equidistant from anywhere you might want to go. A ten-minute walk toward Pukyong University gets you to lots of shops and restaurants.
