I checked in around 5 AM, took a shower, and went to sleep. Later, at around 2 AM, the front desk called to say checkout time had come and I needed to leave. I fell asleep again for another hour, then got up thinking I should hurry. My stomach hurt badly, though, and I only wanted to use the restroom. I felt bad about it, so I called the front desk and offered to pay extra for just one more hour. Instead of simply saying no, they shouted, “Are you kidding me?” and blamed it on being Saturday. I’d explained that I had a stomachache and needed the bathroom, and I was offering extra money. Why react like that? The owner couldn’t control their emotions. I also wonder why weekend prices go up by 30,000 to 40,000 won when weekdays are 30,000 to 50,000 won. Are motel and hotel rates just whatever the owner decides? “The customer is king”? I don’t even expect that.

The facilities are decent, and it’s quiet enough to relax comfortably. I’ve been here several times and previously left a positive review for Gijang Hue Motel. I appreciate how consistently kind the owner is. 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
