I really don't get the positive reviews. Don't be misled by the rating, this doesn't feel like a four-star or even three-star hotel. It's the worst hotel I've stayed in. There was barely any room for belongings. The room was tiny, with just a bed, one chair, a small desk, and nowhere else to put things. The closet was very small too. The bathroom was cramped, with a tiny toilet and no shower door. There wasn't a sink or any kitchen or stovetop area either. The amenities were really poor. Even extra slippers cost money from a vending machine, and only disposable paper cups were provided, with no glass or plastic cups or dishes. When I asked for a single disposable fork or spoon, they didn't have any. There's no hair conditioner, either. Other four-star hotels I've stayed in had bidets, safes, larger fridges, or even steam irons. Here, the TV remote barely worked, and all guests had to share an ironing board in the lobby laundry room. The price is far too high. Nearby hotels offer much better rooms for about the same money.

The rooms are spacious with high ceilings, and the bedding was very good. It's a clean hotel in an ideal spot for Haeundae. The staff were honestly so helpful, friendly, polite, and professional. I'd definitely stay again.
The location is the main thing this hotel has going for it. It's convenient for Haeundae beach, the metro, and nearby areas, though there's not much of a view. I stayed one night and moved to another hotel afterward. I had a problem with my reservation and tried to sort it out with three staff members. They were all unhelpful, and only one had even basic English. If you need English-speaking staff to help with a problem, you may not find that here. I expect hotel staff to be service-minded, and that wasn't my experience. The rooms are small and not very charming, and they don't look as good as the photos. They were clean, which is the least I'd expect at this price in Busan. The bathroom was fine but small, and the sound insulation wasn't great. If you're a light sleeper, noise could be a problem. There are plenty of other choices nearby, whether you're after more style, a view, or helpful staff.
The staff at Blue Story Haeundae Hotel were so friendly and attentive, and the rooms were spotless and modern. We had a balcony with a great view of the street. It's just steps from Haeundae Beach, which made the location perfect. We had a flawless five-star stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Busan.
It was our first trip to Korea, and we were a little nervous, but the family room was a great choice. The location was convenient and the price very reasonable. Haeundae Market was nearby, and the staff kindly helped us call a taxi, which made sightseeing easy. We'd love to return on our next family trip to Busan.
