For a budget stay right across from Sokcho Beach, this worked well, and it'd be especially good for swimming in the sea in summer. We were there one cold weekday night, just the two of us in a Studio Plus Twin. It was our first visit to Sokcho, and the beach being so close was a real plus. The underground parking was spacious and convenient. I’m not completely sure, but it seemed like several hotels shared the same building. It felt almost brand new and was clean and tidy, though a little cluttered. Since it was a weekday and quiet, we were comfortable. Our ocean view was about halfway there, and we liked the small terrace. The room felt more like a residence than a hotel, though. It was a bit dry, and the soundproofing could’ve been better.

I’m on a three-day, two-night trip, and I don’t think I’ll come back. There’s no lobby, and calling the number posted there took about 10 rings before anyone answered. The bed is so low it makes me dizzy, and unless you’re staying alone, the room feels cramped and uncomfortable. I asked about cleaning, but was told I had to request it the day before. I only travel to Sokcho, and I’ve never run into this kind of thing before. Hmm.
