Busan Maron Hotel Nampo

We were glad we could leave our luggage there while exploring Busan before check-in or after check-out. But the stay itself wasn't pleasant. The sheets had stains and a few hairs, even though I'm sure they'd been washed. One pillow looked clean, while the other seemed old and unwashed. There wasn't enough toilet paper in the room, and when we asked for more, we had to go downstairs and get it ourselves. The bed wasn't comfortable for two people, and the staff could have been nicer. At least we only stayed one night.

The room was huge and clean, and the price was good. The location worked well too, right by Nampo shopping street and about a 10-minute drive from Busan Station. Most of the staff were very kind. One person was less welcoming, though still helpful. One guy and his mother were especially wonderful when we had trouble getting a taxi to Busan Station for our train to Seoul. They helped so much that we would've missed the train without them. I'm really grateful, and I'll stay here again when I return to Busan.

For the price, you get a lot of what you need, including toiletries, room to spread out, and other amenities and tools. The location is excellent too. We didn't sleep well because there were a few mosquitoes around the neighborhood, though the hotel did provide insect spray for the room.

The crew were especially good, and the hotel was convenient and clean, with a good internet connection. I'm glad I got to stay here. The food was delicious, though I wondered about the meal arrangement since it was the same in the morning, at noon, and for dinner. Maybe that's the package the agent who booked us chose. I'd give the hotel 4.5 stars.
