Busan Songdo Theme

The room was in very poor condition and didn't match the booking site's description. It smelled of cigarettes and mold, and the cleaning was inadequate.

It's an old hotel, though the staff were kind.

I paid a deposit and booked this room three weeks ahead, but the day before check-in they told me there were no rooms available. They said the deposit only held the request for that particular room, then asked me to pay about three times the original price to stay. Since the booking and deposit were already done, I found that frustrating and hard to understand. Songdo gets many foreign tourists and business visitors, and language barriers or not knowing the area could leave international guests feeling pressured into unfair prices. I also question whether the accommodation and service are worth that much. The booking management and customer service left me disappointed, so future guests should think carefully before reserving.

The location was alright, but the air conditioner leaked, so I had to switch it off before going to sleep. The room smelled awful and kept me awake. It was so uncomfortable that I won't return.
