Central Park Hotel Busan

It’s well located near Lotte Mall and Busan Tower. I found the staff’s welcome uneven, and the cabin lights switching on and off automatically were uncomfortable. The clothes hanger was an open type beside the TV, facing the bed. The hotel didn’t provide a toothbrush, toothpaste, or bath towels, just a small towel for wiping your feet. At breakfast on my first day, most of the food was gone by 7:20 AM, and there was no fruit, though perhaps it was already included in the package. There were no forks or knives either.

The concierge was really helpful and friendly, and spoke pretty good English. My room was huge, with lots of space to unpack suitcases, and the shower had both a rain head and a handheld wand. Breakfast wasn’t included, but it costs only 8000 won and looked like rice, broth, and a few other items. The automatic lights sometimes switched off at the wrong time. The bed surprised me with how firm it was, but I actually slept really well. It makes me wonder if my bed at home is too soft 😂

Bring luggage over 10kg and getting around here will be a problem. The hotel is extremely hard to access with large bags, and there’s nobody to help carry them. There’s a small elevator beside the stairs, but it doesn’t work and apparently isn’t meant for luggage anyway. The so-called luggage "store" is tiny and doesn’t really function as a storage room.

A decent hotel in a quiet spot. It’s about 1.5 km from Busan central station, with good local transport connections and a few nearby places that are easy to reach for exploring the city.
