Den Basta Hotel

Our family room on the third floor fit five of us comfortably, with two large beds and one super single. The staff, including the receptionist and the woman at breakfast, were friendly. There are lots of shops and places to eat nearby, and bottled water is freely available in the lobby. We could use the washer and dryer for free, though detergent cost extra. The bathroom was big, charging points were by every bed, and toiletries included brushes, toothpaste, cleanser, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and a shaver. Checkout was at 11, but luckily they let us leave at 12. There were some useful basics, but the room felt bare, with no chairs or sitting area. There were no windows, and the beds had a plastic layer under the sheets. The bathroom layout wasn't thought through: no sink inside, no shelves or space by the sink for toiletries, two showers taking up room, and no hooks in the WC for clothes. Breakfast was too basic and should run later. The AC and TV shared a remote that was all in Korean, and the room was too cold, so we turned it off. We could hear banging and furniture dragging from the room above. The hotel is by a road and close to lots of KTVs and bars, so lower floors facing the road could be noisy if they have windows. Travel apps show a pool, but that's only for the Penthouse. Not recommended.
