G&G Hotel

I've stayed at quite a few places around Seomyeon, and this is the best one I've found. The rooms are bigger than at Hotel Cheese, right across from here, even though that place costs 1.5 times as much.

This is a motel, not a hotel! The front desk staff couldn't speak English, and that really sucked.

Drunk guests were making a scene in the middle of the night, and the staff didn't seem to care. I asked the front desk to help, but they were busy covering for their own guests. Then they told me to go apologize in person, starting a chat between rooms in the middle of the night. The whole thing was crazy. Worst place ever.

For a roomy, clean and stylish stay in Seomyeon, even the basic Modern room feels like good value. Weekday rates are 40,000 won for Modern, 50,000 won for Deluxe and 60,000 won for Premium, with an extra 5,000 won for paying by card on site. Every room has a bathtub. The rooms are huge for one person, and I think even Modern would feel spacious and comfortable. The exterior looks neat and sophisticated, and you're right in Busan's busiest area, with easy transport and plenty to do. Parking uses a tower system, which is a bit inconvenient. The bathroom layout is unusual, with a spot beside the tub where you can lie down and relax. It'd be nice for lounging or setting things down, but it's too cold to use in winter. My one real gripe is that there's no styler. I thought a motel this size and quality would normally have one, but it doesn't.
