Guest House Mate

The showers smelled like urine and were filthy, with mold in the rooms too. Our room had no windows, and the sheets hadn't been changed, with stains and hairs on them. We ended up cleaning the toilets and showers ourselves because they were so dirty and smelled of urine. We arrived on August 5, 2019, with a 2 p.m. appointment, but the keeper didn't show up until 2:20. Cleaning was supposed to happen between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., but nobody was around then. While all this was going on, the keeper was on his computer playing a video game and vacuumed in the room in front of us. We filmed and took pictures to show what happened. This guesthouse doesn't seem serious about running the place.

A really cute guest house by gwangalli beach. We checked in late, and the staff were very helpful.

The owner was welcoming and pointed us to lots of good restaurants nearby, which made our Busan trip enjoyable. Milk and cereal were available for breakfast. The guesthouse has about 30 beds across the first and second floors; since it was a quiet period, we had the whole place to ourselves. It could have been a bit cleaner, though I liked the feel of staying in a detached house.

I had trouble falling asleep because the room smelled musty and the pillow was too high. On the plus side, it wasn't crowded and it's near Gwangalli Beach.
