Hanwha Resort Haeundae

For the room rate, I expected more. We were three people in a one-bedroom setup with two double beds and a floor bed, but there were only four small hand towels. No bath towels, and any extra towel cost 1,000 won each. We used one each and shared the last one for our hands. The toilet had a bidet, but it didn't work. Bring your own conditioner and lotion; shampoo and body wash are supplied. There was just one phone outlet, under the little desk in the bedroom. I slept on the floor in the living room, where there were pads and blankets in the closet, so I had to charge my phone separately. The location is right by the walkable cinema path along the beach, though there's no beach access. The second-floor restaurant serves very fresh seafood, but you need to reserve and pay ahead. Breakfast is a buffet and costs extra too.

I found the staff really friendly, and the area has plenty of shops, things to do, and places to eat. The bridge view is lovely as well. The rooms were very clean and had the equipment we needed, plus there's laundry service downstairs and a small convenience store. I'd recommend it for a trip with friends or family.

The restaurant food is very good, and the location is ideal if you're going to Haeundae beach. The rooms are a bit dated, but the price is reasonable.

I felt completely unwelcome here. The reception staff had very limited English, and when I needed help with basic things, they weren't willing to assist and just sent me away. The service this resort offers is a disaster. Avoid staying here!!!
