Hotel Elephant

The room is small, but it worked well for us. We had space to eat breakfast together, and there were all the amenities we could want, plus some. If you need a desk or expect to spend lots of time in your room, this probably isn’t the place for you. The bathroom is surprisingly roomy, with enough space to get ready together. The shower took a bit to heat up, then stayed pleasantly hot at a steady temperature. It was one of the more comfortable showers I’ve had in comparable hotels in Korea. The bed was soft but supportive and very comfortable. There’s a mini fridge beside it, though its fans are rather loud. You could turn it off if that bothers you. We stayed one night, and they gave us five or six towels for the two of us, along with toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There was also a small makeup table with a big mirror, a hair dryer, and a charging cable for USB-C, MicroUSB, and Lightning devices. I also really liked how thoughtfully the interior was styled. Compliments to the designer :)

The host was understanding and the surroundings were very comfortable. When I come to Busan, I don’t think I’ll stay anywhere else. :)

The building is definitely old, but for the price and location, I’m very satisfied, especially with the kind woman there. She speaks almost entirely Korean, but she’s always smiling and tries hard to communicate even though she doesn’t speak English. The place is clean and well located. I’d like to make it my regular stay in Busan from now on!
