A really nice guest house. I’d stay again and recommend it to anyone.

The welcome, breakfast, decor, cleanliness, terraces and Wi-Fi were all great, and Lauren has kept the things that made Stay Korea so successful after taking it over in November 2015. This guesthouse is in Hondgae, which I think is the best neighborhood in Seoul, and it’s one of the cheapest and cleanest around. I stayed there in January and December 2015, and would highly recommend it.

Laureen is lovely and speaks excellent English. Her little guesthouse is unpretentious, but really clean and friendly. It’s in a lively university area near Hongik University, a great place to go out, and close to the metro and everything else you need for a pleasant stay. You can choose a dorm bed or a private room. Book ahead if you can.

There are lots of places to eat nearby, and the subway isn’t far, so the location is convenient. The room was clean. Just remember to bring your own toiletries, since they don’t provide them.
