The room was large and affordable, with enough space to open your luggage wherever you like. The bed was really soft and comfy, and there were lots of pillows. The 75-inch TV was awesome for watching movies before bed. It had the basics too, including a kettle, hair dryer, flat iron, shampoo, and body wash, plus a fridge stocked with tea bags and instant coffee. The bathtub, which they call a jacuzzi, didn't work as one. There were no bubbles or water jets. There wasn't a cup in the room, and each day they provided just one bath towel and two face towels, with no extras. The front desk staff spoke little English, but we managed. The room was cleaned daily, and the location made it easy to get around. Nice place to stay, and I'd come back.

My flight was delayed, so I got to the hotel pretty late, but Mr.Kim still welcomed me warmly and helped me a lot. The superior room was compact enough for two people, with nice facilities like a hair dryer, curling wand, and automatic toilet. Mr.Kim also showed us how to get to Seoul station. It was a great experience at Jongno Olive hotel.

Stayed four nights. The hotel was clean and quiet, and the location was convenient, close to the elevator and a bus stop. There's a hair dryer in the bathroom. I'll stay here again next time.

The room has an unusual layout: the bathroom and sitting area are downstairs, with a steep staircase leading up to a loft where the bed is. It was comfortable temperature-wise, and the interior design was stylish and interesting. The bathroom had a bathtub, a handheld shower and rain shower, plus a Japanese-style bidet toilet. There was a water dispenser and microwave by reception. The hotel is conveniently close to a train station, restaurants, and bars. The design was fun, but parts were worn, including the faucet and shower fixtures, which could use renovation. The tub's jet button didn't work, and the bathroom fan was broken, so it got very humid after showers and we had to open the window. Daily cleaning kept the room tidy and satisfactory. The receptionist was friendly most days, but seemed grumpy when we asked for fresh towels instead of a full room cleaning. Maybe they preferred not to be interrupted as much. Their attitude was better on other occasions. Olive Hotel has its quirks and a convenient location, but there are areas to improve. I'd call it a fair three-star stay.

The second night, the noise from the bathroom made sleep impossible. It was a constant buzzing sound. We reported it to reception three times, but the man there didn't try to find a solution and only said he didn't know where it came from. We asked to switch rooms, but he said they were all occupied and we'd have to wait until the next day. At 4 a.m. we had no choice but to leave, and by 5 a.m. we had ordered a taxi back to Songdo. That night was torture and ruined our whole weekend in Seoul. My sister and I had booked two nights in a deluxe double room at Olive Hotel Jongno. The room was dusty everywhere, the bathroom was full of mold, and the heating didn't work. We spent the first night sleeping in sweaters and pants, on sheets stained red and yellow. We were extremely disappointed and hadn't expected this. We paid 194 euros for two deplorable nights. I don't usually complain or write reviews, but I'll never forget this experience.
