Homers Hotel

The location is good, but this doesn’t feel like a 4-star hotel. Check-in is on the 6th floor, and there’s no security at ground level. The elevator needs no key or ID, so anyone can reach the guest floors. Ad cards scattered outside the lobby made the place feel dirty. There’s no outlet by the bed. The A/C couldn’t be adjusted and made annoying noises the whole time. It was very cold during my stay, and I had to wear sweaters in the room. The room and corridor also felt dark and dated. A very bright motion-sensor light by the bathroom will wake you if your roommate gets up at night.

The beach is literally steps away, and the room I picked was super spacious with an oceanfront view. The elevator was ridiculous, though, with long waits. There was a busy event venue affecting things, but they should have a separate entrance and elevator. The room had no other amenities. I might book again, depending on the price.

The hotel is right across from Gwangalli Beach, with a view of Gwangan Bridge. The room was spacious, and you can sit in their lobby area with a glass of wine and enjoy the view.

The central location makes it convenient for getting to shopping, cultural sites, and public transport, whether you're traveling for work or leisure. Rooms have modern décor, quality furnishings, and large windows that let in plenty of daylight. There’s a fitness center, a rooftop lounge with wide city views, and a restaurant serving local and international food. Staff were friendly and professional, and ready to help. It felt comfortable, elegant, and convenient.
