Hyatt Place Busan Yeonsan

I was traveling solo and stayed over the Christmas period last month. The subway is close by, so getting around was easy. Though the hotel had only recently opened, the staff were welcoming and very accommodating. My room was kept to a high standard and stayed clean and comfortable throughout. It was a great experience, and I’d happily return.

There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and the building itself has a CU convenience store and several places to eat, so grabbing a quick meal is easy. The hotel is only a couple hundred yards from the subway. The sauna is clean and adequate, and housekeeping is prompt and professional. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially Mila and Gordon at the front desk, who went out of their way to help with directions and instructions. If you don’t need to be right by the ocean, Hyatt Place is convenient, comfortable, and affordable, with excellent service and a practical location. Pleasant stay and great value for the price.

There’s a subway station nearby and a convenience store in the building, which makes the location handy. The hotel is new, clean, and comfortable, and the service felt professional and welcoming. I usually stay with Accor or IHG and often visit Hyatt properties for dining, but this was my first overnight stay at a Hyatt. Persistent noise from either the air conditioning or plumbing was disappointing. The climate control only let me adjust the temperature, with no cooling or fan mode, so the room felt too warm at night and wasn’t ideal for sleeping. It’s good value, and with limited international brand choices outside Haeundae in Busan, it’s a useful option. I hope they make some improvements.

Everything felt new and clean at Hyatt Place Busan Yeonsan, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. When we asked for a different view, they helped us switch rooms. A great experience.
