The room had hair in it, and the towels had blood stains and other marks they shouldn't have had. The table was rusty, and I didn't even want to use it. Getting there was scary, too: the place is in a very dark area near what I would call a “drunken people walking area.” There was no elevator in the building. When we asked for a refund, staff apologized and offered to change our room. We declined and asked for our money back. They agreed at the time, but the booking website later told me there would be no refund, so I ended up paying the same price. It felt like they were just pretending because they needed to take the other guest. Those were the worst unlucky guests ever. The worst hotel. Please check its ratings with another booking company before you book. Don't choose it just because it's cheap. I strongly warn everyone.

I only use AirTrip to buy plane tickets. I never book hotels there.

It felt like an inn from the 80s or 90s. Prices are very low for a holiday, but I wouldn't recommend it for families.

The room had no water dispenser, and the air conditioning didn't work. The underfloor heating was a little weak, though it did work. The door wouldn't lock, so the only way to secure it was with the chain from inside. For some reason, it was repaired on my last day. J Motel is about a five-minute walk from Exit 15 at Seomyeon Station, but it's tucked away on a secluded plot that doesn't face the road, so it can be hard to find.

It's a good option if you're trying to save money or need easy access to the market. Just be prepared for cigarette smells and washing and heating facilities in poor condition.
