Kimchee Busan Downtown Guesthouse - Hostel

I checked into a private room and found the sheets dirty. When I asked to have them changed, the male manager came in and made inappropriate remarks, including telling me he was interested in watching porn. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable. I complained, but it didn't seem like anything would be done to stop this happening again. The refund I was promised still hasn't come through. I wouldn't recommend staying here, especially if you're a woman traveling alone.

The place had a college dorm feel, with people from all over the world on the first floor. Seems like a good spot if you're hoping to meet people. I was in a shared six bed room, and the beds aren't assigned, you just take one that's free. Check in and check out were self service, though I did see volunteers and got a little help. Otherwise you handle things yourself, which was fine by me. I chose it for the convenient metro ride to the PYU airport, and the station was close. I stayed one night and it was alright. The missing curtains were a downside, though maybe that makes cleaning easier. I slept fine and wasn't woken by anyone, but I think that depends on who you're sharing with. I left my luggage in the luggage room overnight, as did a lot of people with large bags. The room doesn't have space for all that, otherwise. I didn't have trouble with theft, even though I don't lock my locker. Whether that's safe probably depends on who's staying or working there and how trustworthy they are.

I booked a four person dorm but was put in a six person one instead. I messaged the owner and got no response. The snoring was so loud that I couldn't sleep. I contacted Agoda support and asked them to suspend the account. This was the worst hotel experience I've had. Don't stay here.

I can't decide how I felt about this place, it was a pretty average hostel. All the check in details came by message, and I had no contact with staff or reception. The kitchen is large and has everything. The bathroom had three toilets and three showers serving a floor or maybe two. That seems like too few when it's busy, though I was lucky and didn't run into a wait. The bathroom door was completely clear glass, with no frosting at all :0 There are no curtains. You can either leave the window open with its mosquito net or close it and use the blackout blind. In the morning, even around 10, I had to use a flashlight so I wouldn't switch on the main light and wake people up.
