Lavalse Hotel

From the room, the view was good, and the rooftop cafe and bar on the 28th floor offer an even wider panorama. The hotel itself is stylish and eye-catching, and its location on Yeungdo Island makes it easy to reach traditional cultural spots. It's about a 10-minute walk across a bridge to the underground station, Jagalchi Market, and Nampo District, Busan's old market area. Compared with Haeundae, this part of town feels a little lower end, but it preserves the old Busan.

The room was spacious for a standard room compared with other hotels, and the sliding door dividing the space was a nice touch. The location, facilities, and view were all excellent. Still, checkout felt quite unfriendly, which was disappointing after the gentleman who helped me check in had been so kind. I realize checkout can get busy with so many tourists, but management should give this more attention. I also saw a number of people saying they felt the same in comments on NAVER and Kakao map.

I had a great stay in a corner room with a water view and a huge balcony. The hotel gets pretty busy at times, but the cafe downstairs was great and the rooftop bar was an excellent place to relax. I wish it were closer to public transportation. We managed by walking across the bridges, though, and I'd come back.

Our room had loads of space, a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, and a lovely view. The shower area could've been bigger, though it wasn't a problem for us. The hotel seems newer than many nearby, and it's fairly close to Nampo subway station and Lotte Gwangbok. We also loved the weekend night market nearby, especially the amazing food. Check-in at 3pm was a little inconvenient, but we could leave our bags at reception earlier.
