Having my own room was nice for a change since I usually stay in hostels. The area is a little dull, but it’s handy for Busan Station. Getting to Gwangalli beach or Haeundae by public transit takes around 40 minutes to an hour. Check-in was a bit of a mess. There’s no staff at the place, and when I arrived I looked through my messages for the passcode. The instructions were long and in English, Spanish, and Korean, but the English section didn’t include the code. I sat outside for 30 minutes waiting for a reply. Not the end of the world, but I was tired and just wanted to get in lol. The room was pretty good: the air conditioner worked well, the bed was huge and comfortable, the water got very hot, and there’s a shared fridge and microwave on the fourth floor. There were a few hairs from the previous guest, a tiny dead bug in the bathroom, and a dirty mirror. I didn’t see any live bugs. It was somewhat noisy, with other guests audible on the stairs and through the walls. There’s no useful counter space in the bathroom, so I had to put on makeup standing in the main room. I may have paid a bit too much, though it was a holiday weekend, so that may explain the rate. At a good price, it’s a decent enough room.
