W Residence Hotel Centum City

The staff, service, and value were great, though the interiors feel dated, especially in the hallways. The AC/heater was also a pain to figure out, like you needed an electrical engineering degree to get it working.

The location is superb, and the place was clean, roomy, and good value. The furniture and interior are dated, though.

There are plenty of restaurants close by, with Lotte Department Store and Homeplus nearby too. Getting around was convenient: the airport bus stop (Bexco Station) is around the corner, another airport bus stop is across the street, and Centun City Station and local buses are close. I was worried the room photos might be misleading, but they were accurate, and my child loved the room. The family twin suite was a great deal, averaging under 3100 won a night. I’d book it again on another trip to Busan. I’d first tried to reserve here, but hesitated until there were no rooms left. Then, less than a month before the trip, I spotted this room type and booked right away. The front desk being on the 3rd floor and not open around the clock was inconvenient. There was no cleaning, but that was okay, and I didn’t have to worry about luggage being stolen. As long as I didn’t eat anything with a strong smell, it didn’t matter. They also had no luggage scale. Bags could be stored before check-in or after check-out during office hours. There was a handsome guy at the front desk 😄

I don’t have high standards for hotels, but this felt like a residential-style place being run as a hotel without enough management. After showering, I used a towel and noticed a strong, unpleasant smell from it. My sense of smell isn’t especially sensitive, either...
