MIHOJAE Hostel Busan

This was the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Busan. It’s spacious and affordable, with Busan Station, restaurants, and coffee shops just a few meters away. They let you wait in the reception area as long as you need before check-in or after checkout. I’d definitely book again when I’m back in Busan.

The room had a decent amount of space, and getting to Busan station was really convenient. Amenities were good too. The bathroom could use improvement, though, since shower water gets all over the place.

We stayed at Mihojae Hostel Busan Station Branch with the kids for our vacation, and I’d happily come back. It’s small but clean and neat, and the price felt affordable enough that we didn’t have to worry about it. Being right beside Busan Station also made it easy to get around and reach Busan’s well-known sights.

It’s so close to the station, and the room has a big fridge. I liked the clean futons, and on a sunny day the roof looks lovely. Laundry is free, there’s a hairdryer in the room, and replies to LINE messages came quickly. There’s no reception staff, which made me feel less self-conscious, lol. The room also has a washing machine and TV, and at around 2,000 yen a night it seems like a good deal for a longer stay. Detergent and softener are on the 5th floor, but you have to ask for instructions. There’s meant to be a clothesline, though I found only one and someone was using it. In sunny weather, you can dry things on the roof. I’d read about mosquitoes and bought spray at a supermarket, then spotted it in the drawer under the TV. A few things to be aware of: there’s no elevator, no dryer, and I’d expected breakfast but there wasn’t any. The washing machine smelled awful. The shower has hot water for only 15 minutes, so keep that in mind.
