H Avenue Hotel Gwangalli

There’s plenty around the area, including coffee shops, restaurants, and a convenience store in the building, and the beach is only a short walk away. The rooms are comfortable and have great views. We also enjoyed the excellent buffet and service. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful.

We came for the Busan fireworks show, but the small rooms cost way too much for the occasion. On top of that, they charged another 30,000 ₩ to stand on a bare rooftop. With the money they brought in, they could have put out snacks or hired a DJ for a proper party. The view wasn’t that good anyway.

This isn't a hotel, it feels like an adult hostel. No English, and the staff weren't kind.

We stayed in a semi sea-view room. The sea looked beautiful, though next time I’d pick a full sea view. There was enough room for our two large suitcases, and the bathroom was clean, but the water pressure was a little weak. The partitions didn’t bother us despite what people say about soundproofing, although we sometimes heard people talking downstairs. The area is lively and you can walk to the restaurants around Guang'anli. My mother and I often went for a stroll after meals. The building has other businesses, so elevator waits can be long. On our first visit, the driver dropped us on the road near the sea, on the street with CU in its name. We didn’t know where the entrance was and spent a while looking for it. There were lots of tourists, and people often smoked on the first floor, depending on whether guests were considerate. (I was 🤣) The staff were efficient and helpful. We didn’t interact with them again after check-in, so I don’t have more to add. Seems like a good value option for travelers who want to take things at a slower pace.
