The room itself wasn’t great, and the bed creaked. The cleaning, amenities, and service were better than the room, though. It’s about a seven-minute walk from Hadan Station, in Daehak-ro, which seems like a decent location. It’d be fine for one night if you check in late on the first day of a trip. There are lots of bars nearby, and I often saw fights close to the entrance.

It’s cheap and the Wi-Fi works well, but cleanliness is a problem. It might be okay if hygiene doesn’t matter much to you. Some spots seemed to have been cleaned while the rest was left as it was. There was hair stuck to the sink faucet, and after my shower I opened the skin lotion and found something around the opening. The heating didn’t work either, and the bed’s heating pad wouldn’t light up. I wish it had at least been clean.

The landlady was unfriendly, and she didn’t change the bedding or toiletries while I was there. There’s no floor heating, and 90% of the electric blankets provided are defective. The busy area stays noisy all night. Parking is tight too, and if you leave your car at the back, you’ll have to go out early to move it.

If you like spicy food, this place is worth considering. I’d been ordering “Tear Jjamppong” for a while, so I gave “White Jjamppong” a try. It was a bit greasy, and I got tired of it quickly. I don’t think it was really to my taste. Even so, I’d put this among the neighborhood’s top three jjamppong spots. Bokseong’s food got worse after it was on TV, so this is the only place I go now.
