That was the quickest, easiest check-in I’ve ever had. The rooms were clean and great, with a good bathtub and an excellent shower. Japanese toilet, if you know, you know. There’s air conditioning, plenty of places for food and drinks nearby, and easy access to the metro and buses.

The room was roomy, and getting to the subway and central areas was easy. The rest of the stay was frightening. The neighborhood felt unpleasant, and the receptionist was unpleasant too. We weren’t given proper towels or soap. The lights flickered on and off, the bathroom kept leaking, and there was a strange smell in the hallways. Even with the air conditioning turned up, our non-smoking room smelled as if someone were smoking right in our faces.

The location by the foot of Busan Tower was great, and the motel itself was quiet. I couldn’t work out the TV remote, though. My booking meant check-in wasn’t until 7 PM, which I hadn’t realized, so I passed the time with food at the International Market and a drink at the pub downstairs. Check-out was at 11 AM, and I took it easy until then. I’d like to stay again for the location.
