We spent seven nights at Nampo Ocean2Heaven Hotel & Spa as a couple over 50, and it turned out to be one of our best choices. We especially liked the mix of calm harbor views and the lively seafood market and shipyard below. In early April, we also saw cherry blossoms on the hill beside the hotel. Our room was clean and looked straight out over the harbor, a beautiful and relaxing view. The owner welcomed us warmly, was friendly and hands-on, and gave us useful nearby food recommendations. Jagalchi Station is only a five-minute walk away. There is a local bathhouse next door, plus a supermarket and lots of eateries within a short walk. The Nampo underground shopping area is close and convenient too. Uber, buses, and the subway made getting around easy. One thing to watch: there are similar hotel names in Busan. We went to the wrong one at first, so double-check the address. We found it a comfortable stay with great views and a local Busan feel.

The staff made a real difference, with friendly help and suggestions for places to visit and eat. One staff member shared Instagram videos and recommendations, and the food was great. The day staff member helped make the trip wonderful, and the evening staff always greeted us with a warm smile when we returned. Water bottles were refilled, and all the amenities we needed were provided. This was our first hotel in Korea, and we were glad to stay here, in the middle of three cultural villages. The room photo caught my eye, and my wife agreed it was the one for us. The larger sea-view rooms weren't available, so I picked the smaller queen room with a view. The hotel suggested a larger room without a view, but I'd already made up my mind. I didn't regret it. It wasn't too small, with room to move around, and the huge bath and balcony were a bonus. A larger room with a view would have been even better, but that wasn't available. We paid extra for our son, and though I thought he'd sleep on the sofa, they brought a foldable mattress for him. The name suggests there's a spa connected to the hotel.

We were there over Lunar New Year, and the owner covered the lobby and parking garage so the staff could have the holiday off. He was very accommodating and let us check in early. The rooms were gorgeous and spotless, with a deep tub that's great for relaxing. Jagalchi, BIFF, Gukje/Bupyeong market, and the Fashion district are all within walking distance. Thanks for a great stay. I'd happily come back.

The room was spacious and clean, though the bed was softer than I like and left me with some backaches in the morning. The staff were exceptionally kind. They gave us a thoughtful note with a map of the area and food recommendations, which we really appreciated. I spent four nights here on my January Korea trip. The harbor and sea views were stunning, and soaking in the big bathtub while looking out at them was such a treat. The location made exploring Busan easy, with fish markets, great places to eat, and shopping streets all a short walk away. Jagalchi Market was about ten minutes on foot, and the train station around twenty. Aside from the bed, everything was great.

The Japanese-style wooden floor made the hotel feel really cozy. There are two doors that block out noise, and they provide lots of extra toiletries, including toothbrushes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only a couple of things bothered me: there's no proper dressing table, and the bathtub leaks. The stopper being right in the middle is odd too, since it's easy to press it and let the water out.
