The carpet was dirty and smelled bad, which bothered me. Apart from that, it was an inexpensive hotel and I had no complaints. It does have the feel of a love hotel, condoms and all, though that's common enough in Korea and didn't bother me. There's a restaurant on the first floor, and the location near downtown Nampo-dong is convenient. The streets get dark at night, so women should be careful walking around then.
I booked ahead because I was concerned the weekend might make it hard to find somewhere to stay, but I won't be coming back. The room was small, and the bathroom had an unpleasant moldy smell. With carpet on the floor and the sink beside the bed, water dripped down and left the floor damp all the time. For a boutique hotel, it felt pretty inadequate.
It was really cheap and tidy, and worked well for staying alone. The heater is powerful for a room this size, though, so running it when it's cold can make the air dry.
Despite the hotel label, it feels like a motel. Still, it's right in busy Nampo-dong and has parking, so it could work well for a business trip.
Clean place with a stylish design. Pretty nice.
