NewCZ Haeundae Residence

The floors were so dusty that the bottoms of my feet turned black, and it was far too dirty for children. Every bathroom had such a bad sewage smell that I couldn’t even open the door. The kitchen door seemed broken and was propped in place with wadded-up toilet paper. It was pathetic. This is the worst place I’ve ever stayed. It seems they used a name similar to 'Signiel' to mislead people. I absolutely don’t recommend staying here.

The setup was bizarre and misleading. When I booked, the pool and gym seemed to be included, but they actually cost extra and were extremely expensive. There’s no proper reception, which caused problems, especially since I didn’t have a Korean mobile number. The room had odd rules about bins and towels, and the advertised washing machine didn’t work. A very strange place.

The second bed was just two thin duvets being called a futon. The pool and other amenities aren’t actually part of the accommodation, and the place feels tacky and cheap. Self check-in was clumsy too. In the end, several groups, including us, had to go up to the third floor to get checked in. Stay clear.

The building is new and clean, with both hotel and Airbnb options. There’s a GS25 convenience store on the first floor, and Haeundae Beach is an easy walk away. The location is excellent, and the view from a high floor is exceptional. The hotel amenities are sparse. They provide bath towels, but no hand towels or floor mats.
