The biggest letdown was breakfast. It wasn’t served on Sundays, even though we’d booked six nights with breakfast included. The options were basic and repetitive, mostly curry and rice with industrial-quality toast bread. By the second morning it was boring, and we went out for a decent breakfast almost every day. It was oddly rated “Good” on Booking.com. The room itself was spacious and adequate, but the bathroom needs updating: the door wouldn’t close properly, and the bath was uncomfortable for showers. Service was nearly absent. There was usually just one person at the lobby desk, and nobody there the morning we left, so we left our key cards on the desk and hoped checkout was handled correctly. The location wasn’t great either. It’s near the fish market, so the area felt humid and sometimes smelled. With the weak service, poor breakfast, and so-so location, I can’t recommend it for a long stay. It might work for one or two nights if you keep your expectations in check.

We were a group of three and got upgraded because a room was available, which was great. The room was clean and spacious, and the bathroom was roomy too. There’s no air ventilation, so we asked for a standing fan even though it was autumn. Staff were helpful and welcoming, and breakfast was free, though simple. The location is one of the best for the money, right opposite BIFF square. GS25, with a WOWPASS machine for tourists, is nearby, and the hotel is close to bus and subway stops. Handy if you’re heading to Gamcheon or Huinnyeol village, or visiting Jagalchi, BIFF, and Gukje. I’d recommend it, especially for a first trip to the city.

There are lots of seafood options nearby. Jagalchi Station on subway Line 1, exit 10, Jagalchi Market, and BIFF Square are all within walking distance.

The front desk agent spoke clear English, and the rooms were nice and clean, just like the photos. The location was convenient, with plenty of food options around BIFF. It’s a short taxi ride to Gamcheon, Songdo beach, and other highlights. I’d stay here again.

There’s a new drugstore downstairs with things travelers might need. The rooms are large and super clean, and it’s in a great spot in one of the city’s main tourist areas.
