Residence Mumum Hotel

We had a great ten days in Busan, and the staff were the part of the stay we’ll remember longest. They made everything easy, were so friendly, and even had umbrellas available at the desk. For my husband’s birthday, I asked if they could leave a little note. They wrote him a lovely message, then left us another when we departed. They also made the cleaning days easy. Our room suited us perfectly, with plenty of space and a bench for our luggage. We enjoyed the breakfast and getting to try different things. The area was amazing for shopping and had all the food we could want. Their hospitality made the trip feel special.

Busan’s best-known attractions were about 20-30 minutes away by car or Uber, and the hotel was very well placed for getting around. The room was clean and comfortable. The female receptionist was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, always there whenever we needed something. Thank you, Residence Mumum Hotel, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back, maybe next year :)

We ended up extending our stay by four nights when my daughter came down with a bad stomach flu on our last night and we had to cancel a trip to another city. The hotel let us stay in the same room so she could rest. Jung and Park helped us find information about medicine and a hospital the next morning, and Ms Jung walked with us to a nearby clinic and interpreted for us. She helped my daughter get treatment and medicine. We wouldn’t have known what to do without her. They kept checking on her like worried relatives, explaining how to microwave congee, labeling the medicine, and asking how she was each day. This hotel became home to us. We stayed in rooms 1006 and 906, which had washing machines, microwaves, kettles, and basins. They lent us a cooking set with a cutting board, pot, pan, and induction stove. The rooms were bright, with windows we could open for fresh air and sunlight. The shower had strong pressure and drained well, the beds were firm but comfortable, and everything was kept very clean. Bottled water was free, and breakfast arrived at our rooms at 8 every morning. The location was handy: five minutes on foot from Seoymeon subway station exits 8, 10, and 12, where many bus tours meet. There were restaurants, pharmacies, and convenience stores nearby, but the neighborhood wasn’t noisy. The wet market was a 15-minute walk away. All the staff were helpful and kind. We especially appreciated Ms Jung coming outside to greet us and help with our luggage when we checked in.

We were so touched by the manager’s warmth and care. Even with limited room, she responded promptly and took care of the details. For our honeymoon, she gave us a sweet note and a pack of thoughtful gifts. Thank you all for giving us such a memorable stay.
