On the second night we lost the plastic room key, and the receptionist charged us an extra 20,000 won for a replacement. I understand there's a penalty since it was our fault, but that amount felt abusive and wasn't disclosed in writing. She didn't speak English, or acted as if she couldn't understand us, and didn't even ask us to confirm our details before handing over and charging for the copy. We booked three nights after seeing good reviews on Booking, but should have looked elsewhere. The room smelled of tobacco as soon as we walked in, was dirty, and had stains on the walls from bodily fluids. The finishes were completely outdated. Pipes made noise at night, and there was no soundproofing between rooms. There are much better places to stay in Busan.

The bed was comfortable, the TV was good, and the room itself was pretty nice. But we stayed two nights and couldn't sleep because it was too hot, with no way to control the heat in the room. Without that problem, I'd have given a much higher score.

I booked a bigger room, but at check-in they gave me one half the size. When I challenged them, they said there were no other rooms and nothing they could do, especially since I'd booked through another platform. Terrible service, and it ruined the holiday for our family of four. Avoid at all costs.

The location is handy, right by a metro stop and near nightlife and shopping. It has Netflix and did the job for a few nights exploring Busan, especially if you don't need to be near the beach. The drainage was bad enough that the whole room smelled like poop and cheese. Shutting the bathroom door helped a little, but going back in was still horrible. They don't clean the room unless you ask. Check-in was at 6 PM for us, though the man let us in earlier since we were waiting around. 🤣
