The location is the only real plus for me. My experience with the room was so different from other guests' reports. The toilet was very dirty, with algae blooms on the floor. We were given only face towels, no body towels, and the toilet light was dim and partly broken, so it wasn't well lit.

The hotel itself and its location were great, but water was leaking from my air conditioner and they had no other room available. One staff member was also quite rude and had a bad attitude.

Show Motel was a cozy, clean, welcoming place for a budget traveler, in a safe area just off the strip by haeundae beach. It's less than a block from exits 5/7 at haeundae train station, and close to the beach. Our room was cozy rather than spacious and didn't have a US-style big view, but it did have a jacuzzi. We stayed two nights, and they replenished our towels and swept the sand from the shower. The toilet even had a bodae! At 4am, the front desk called a taxi for my trip to Haedong yonggungsa temple for sunrise and told the driver exactly where to take me. There's a little lobby with free toast and coffee in the morning, though I skipped it for cafe pascucci a block away. One thing to know: the outlets and lights only work with your room key in the power slot, so you can't leave devices charging while you're out. I had a great stay and would come back on my next trip.
