The Hound Hotel

The hotel is conveniently located and the rooms are spacious, but upkeep is seriously lacking. Ours was extremely dirty: black stains on the walls, dusty furniture, and a tub with hair in it. Worst of all, there were blood stains inside the reusable slippers. I've stayed at hotels in Korea before where cleanliness wasn't always perfect, but this was easily my worst experience.

The room was big, with a TV, a desktop computer I never used, and a bathtub I enjoyed most. It also had a full set of amenities, and the price felt like a bargain. The location is good, close to a metro station and within walking distance of Nampodong Street, with a few convenience stores nearby. The friendly receptionist spoke basic English, so communicating was no problem. He greeted me whenever I went out or came back. I'd stay here again on my next visit.

The room and bed were clean, and there were some amenities, including a robe. The main problems were that shower water spread across the whole bathroom, there was noise in the morning, and the staff wouldn't let me use the toilet after checkout.

We had a really pleasant stay at The Hound Hotel. Our room was lovely and had everything we needed, plus the most comfortable bed. The hotel was clean and modern, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's well located near Busan Tower, shopping streets, restaurants, bus stops, and a metro station. Breakfast had various drinks, cereal, and three kinds of sandwiches with salad, though there were no vegan choices. I'd highly recommend it.
