The wallpaper and other things were moldy, and the room and bathroom were in rough shape. Cleaning was awful. I booked at the last minute and stayed the same day, but I can't recommend this place.

I've stayed here four nights so far, and the jacuzzi has worked once but was broken the other three times. The place feels much like a Japanese love hotel, though you can book it cheaply online and it's convenient for solo travelers. There are so many TV channels that you won't get bored, probably somewhere between 150 and 200.

The main downside for drivers is the access: take the wrong turn and you have to make a long detour. For public transport, though, the location is good. This is Seomyeon Theme Motel, with the familiar layout and style you find in motels around any neighborhood. It's not new and shows some wear, but hygiene was okay. There was hardly any noise from outside or inside, and the hot water pressure was fine. I wouldn't choose it for an overnight stay, more for daytime use.

The place feels quite old, yet the owner gives service on a hotel level and there's a bubble bath. The atmosphere is a bit of a contrast.

Just like the photos, and the owner was friendly.
