Browndot Hotel Masan Odong

It was clean, but I didn’t meet a friendly host.

Good service at the front desk.

The receptionist was friendly and lovely, and for the price this felt like a great-value stay. We booked Browndot in Mashan so we could see the cherry blossoms in Zhenhai early in the morning. Zhenhai is only a 20-minute drive away, so Mashan is an option if you can’t find a place to stay in Zhenhai. The hotel is in an industrial area that gets dark, but I still recommend it to people visiting Jinhae or Masan. We had a standard room for four, and it was huge even with four adults. There was plenty of room to move around with three 28-inch suitcases and one 26-inch suitcase. The bathroom and toilet are separate, and there’s a UV-sterilized wardrobe. They seemed to provide supplies rather randomly, with only three sets for four people, but we’d brought our own travel essentials. You can ask for more at the counter if you need them. Breakfast starts at 6 AM. There aren’t many seats in the lobby, and the meal was simple, though we left full. I learned there that Koreans eat instant noodles for breakfast! 🤔 Check-in was easy: the front desk is right in the lobby, and if nobody’s there, there’s a bell and contact number. Confirm the booking, get your key, and you’re set. The desk is open 24 hours. For checkout, just return the key there. Parking is plentiful both indoors and outside. The indoor lot has a sensor gate that opens automatically as a car approaches.

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were especially friendly. I definitely plan to stay here next time I visit Masan.
